I would like Mr. Galliano to benefit from this unhappy story by drinking a little less and getting back to making the dresses and shows that he did so well."

i think i'm having a love affair with Parisian glamour. i'm usually not one for frills and bourgeois. i think, however, John Galliano has a special gift. i'm enticed! sometimes i wish i was Parisian...

Christian Dior Fall 2011 RTW

is it a surprise that Dior turned up on my post again? nope. but this doesn't mean i support the scandal that's behind John Galliano. if you don't know what i'm talking about, you're living under a rock. can you blame me, though, for still being foolishly in love with the label? Dior is a household name, and amidst the anti-semitic drunken rant, Galliano is still a brilliant designer. it was hard to watch the collection without the obvious distraction, but in the end i loved it. it started deep in burgundies and rich in black, and ended with Galliano's signature Parisian flair. now that he's out of the house, who will start the next chapter for Dior? hmmmm...
