(not so) crazy

there's something fascinating about this image. from the tips of her strands to the ash of her cigarette, it's all very extravagant in its own terms. but it works, doesn't it?

captured

what is it... the way she's holding her hat steady against the wind? that she's decked out in black? her plum rouge? her stare? i wish i was Scott Schuman so i can experience these breathless moments myself and capture them into immortality.

hot damn

men in leather jackets without overconsumption are hot.
always has been, and always will be.

good vibrations

i just like the vibe this photo gives off...
and i reallllly love her top.
but her shoes.... not so much.

beautiful contradiction

floral + military = a beautiful contradiction

if you've been keeping up with my blog,
(and i am sincerely grateful if you have been)
you should know that "contradiction" is one of my favorite styles.
this is just so perfect... i wanna go shopping. again.

Guy with Style

this guy's just too cute.
i love that he unbuttoned his shirt halfway down.
this can look really sleezy on most, but he pulls it off well.
or maybe i'm just distracted by his smile...
or maybe it's his hair...
or his eyes...
i personally know only one guy (maybe two) who can work this.
yea, he's pretty hot, too.

Scott Schumann is still my favorite street fashion photographer. There are a lot of street fashion photographers nowadays... and many of them are bloggers, too... but no one else can capture fashion and make the object of focus greater than life, than he. I wonder if he'll put up an art gallery... I think he should. I already have his book. A physical gallery would be sweet.
