Jen Kao, Spring 2011

A lot of things popped out to me in this collection, but only one look was unforgettable. This was look #1, and of course... the first and last look pretty much sum up the epitome of the season's collection. I'm a huge fan of pairing a romantic piece to one that is of the opposite (contradiction!). Though the jacket is structured to some degree, the unrestricted lapel adds a soft touch and appears approachable. I'm loving the color, btw. ....are those... "footings"?? It doesn't appear to be sandals to me. Hmm... something to look into.
