David Koma Fall 2011 RTW

never heard of this designer, but he has an interesting view. i don't like patterns. and i usually hate circles. it's not the most flattering on a woman, especially when it's body-squeezing. but David Koma plays with this shape and uses it to give a flattering figure by manipulating the natural with different circle sizes forming a different shape as a whole. it's all about the manipulation in the eye. you see a set of patterns, and you follow the lines. it also helps that he uses undertones on some of his pieces. to my surprise, i actually like it. hmm. who knew?
