My Own Bar in 7 Easy (and expensive) Steps

Wow... It's been more than a year since my last post! I've been extremely busy and due to that, lost motivation to continue my blog (I'm sorry to the 3 readers... or maybe there's only 1 now.... or zero... *shrug). I think I have my life a little more balanced now... I have my own place, boyfriend is back home (yay!), going to the gym on a regular basis (thanks to the bf), and got a promotion not too long ago! Life is good.

So I saw this clip and thought... PERFECT. Because I'm a huge fan of alcohol (not a lush and not a member of AA, mind you), and since I have no clue on how to setup my own bar at home this could not come more at a perfect time. For those bar noobs like myself... this one's for you.

Vogue Korea 15th Anniversary

naturally i have an appreciation for Korean art, so naturally i'm smitten-ed by this cover featuring model Hye-Jin Han wearing Damyeon. this is one of 15 covers for Vogue Korea's 15th Anniversary (so appropriate), but i particularly like this one above others. it shows the origin of traditional Korean garment, but has a contemporary display. Republic of Korea's fashion has come a long way since 1953, the supposed "end date" of the Korean War. in terms of modern lifestyle, there was little to none at that time. for the past 50-odd years, RoK took many efforts to catch up with the US, the then leading country of the world. today, their lifestyle surpasses ours tremendously and is constantly changing at an incredibly fast pace. it's hard to imagine that a country whose vast majority used to wear traditional garments as everyday-wear only 50 years ago, is now one of the leaders of fashion and art innovation.
