A Bride's Funeral

This was shot by Craig McDean back in 2006, with models Sasha Pivovarova and Natasa Vojnovic, featuring couture by Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino, Versace, Armani Prive, Chanel, and Christian Lacroix. This was one of the editorials that got me obsessively hooked onto fashion. I love, love, LOVE the ugly, the raw, and all the same the beautiful. Wearing romantic lace and silk gowns and turning it into an image that is the opposite inspires me to think outside of the box. Reminds me of Tim Burton's work... and I love his work.

Feeling gray all over...

I know Winter already said farewell, but I love the different grays that are put together in this look. Having too much of one color in one outfit is usually faux pas, with the exception of black, but I guess gray is an exception, too!

ZARA Men's May Look Book

I know I've been posting more stuff for men than women lately, and I don't know why I've been more fascinated with men's than women's. I know that I'm starting to familiarize myself with men's fashion, not that I didn't know anything about it before but now I have a better understanding of men's aesthetics. It's quite different from women's... or maybe it's the same? Or maybe it's because of my personal taste in my own wardrobe that I can understand it? Or maybe I'm just making all of this up! hahahaha :P So this model... Tobias Sorenson... I don't know if it's the clothes or the model because he's ridiculously handsome. You know how they say that a very handsome human being can pretty much pull anything off? This is one good looking man. Suppose it's not just his looks, because I do like the pieces very much. Zara is an amazing brand, both for women and men. Check out men's May Look Book :)

Interior Design

Lately, I've been particularly interested in interior design. Not only does it make a room lovable, comfortable, interesting, etcetera, but it's an expression of personal taste. It's a personal expression of the home-owner, or in other cases the room "owner". As a pair of Louboutins sets the mood to an outfit, a room's decor sets the mood for the company.

I love that brick wall. It has a rough texture, but it appears soft and warm... like toasted marshmallows.
