Chloe

i'm loving the silk tuxedo jacket by Chloe and those red boots by See by Chloe....
the Levis are classic.

Vampire Weekend "Holiday"

Vampire Weekend has another mv out from their Contra album. it reminds me of the nonchalance of Sophia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette" and Stanley Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange"... though less vulgar and disturbing. listening to VW always puts me in a good mood :)

The Sartorialist

Scott Schumann is still my favorite street fashion photographer. There are a lot of street fashion photographers nowadays... and many of them are bloggers, too... but no one else can capture fashion and make the object of focus greater than life, than he. I wonder if he'll put up an art gallery... I think he should. I already have his book. A physical gallery would be sweet.

Plunge

I love back exposure. It's one of the sexiest parts of your body to expose that's not your obvious boob cleavage and butt cheeks. I remember sporting all kinds of back cleavage last summer, even when it was a little risque, if you know what I mean *wink. I can't wait for back cleavage weather to come back.

Build Your Own BIKE

BUILD YOUR OWN BIKE *GASP
@ UO

it's just too bad the streets in Seattle aren't very bicycle friendly.
unless you're a real urban cyclist.
but what's so cute about that???

I *heart* Zooey Deschanel

Dior Resort 2011 - VID

Part 1

Part 2

Interior Designer: Isabelle Sjovall

I was surprised to see works of interior design by a Swedish designer that didn't look like an expensive version of an IKEA catalog. No offense to the Swedes, as they are brilliant when it comes to producing easily likable products for cheap, but sometimes it's a little too straight forward... which can appear cold. Isabelle Sjovall's work is very warm and welcoming. I would've never guessed these were designed by a Swedish designer. I lovvvve it.

Laced Boots

I love pairing something feminine with something masculine. Even though these boots are stiletto boots, I can totally picture each look being paired with classic Docs.

Bottega Veneta Resort 2011

I've always been a huge fan of the more masculine women's collections, mostly because of the sex appeal. What's sexier than a woman wearing a man's look, all the while looking tres chic? For Resort, or Cruise as some like to call it, Tomas Maier brought another powerful lineup, in addition to the Fall collection. I felt particularly giddy and excited when I scanned through this. I'm not sure if I would wear sneakers, considering I'm 5'3" short, but I'd wear a really great pair of 5+-inch wedge boots or even a not-so-hideous pair of clogs. I need the extra height.

Dior Resort 2011

John Galliano showcased Christian Dior Resort in Shanghai... filled with eastern dolls. With the exception of a few 'western' looks, the rest of the show reminded me of Asian 'Barbie' dolls that I remember seeing the last time I visited Korea.... which was about sixteen years ago. They all had these pretty chiffon dresses in colors of light green, yellow, pink, and orange. The only reason why I can still remember what they looked like is because I was really weirded out by how different they looked compared to Barbie dolls here. Anyway, so Galliano brought a little bit of French couture and 1960s fashion to the 'city of the future'. Loved it. and more-so because Karlie Kloss opened the show, again.

a Lacoste kind of tennis

I'm totally in love with those Zara wedge boots...

Lewis Leather

So ... I love wearing chucks. And I also love to disregard anything that is an imitation of Chuck Taylors (they're not all that hot...). But I gotta admit... this one is pretty friggin dope.
1. It's leather. 2. It's black. and 3.............

It's got a zipper on the back!!!!

too. cool.

Dolce Vita 'Tahoe' sandals

I'm soooo glad sandal season is in full gear! I wore my favorite pair the last two days... and oh how I've missed wearing them. Dolce Vita is a great brand. I can say this because most of my shoes are by DV. So comfortable and so favorably chic. This pair is especially nice... It makes me want to prance through the city with my AG cut-offs and a hobo-chic tunic I spotted at H&M the other day... *sigh all I ever do is spend spend spend!!! But can you blame me? It's for a good cause...... The "give all you got to look good" cause!!! (cheesy. i know. and actually... super super lame.)

Anarchy Aviators

I haven't worn aviators in two years, and I'm kind of surprised they're still hot. I guess good things never go out of style. I like this one. It kind of resembles the one I used to wear, until I accidentally sat on it and broke the lens :( Talk about fat ass... lol

DEALSSSSSSS @ J.Crew

Hair-tastrophy = COMPROMISE

Accepting the bad hair cut and styling my hair how I always do, means that I'm surrendering to the horrific cut. Well I refuse to surrender. So....... I've been tying my hair up lately. And even though it pronounces the roundness of my face and FULL cheeks, it's about a gazillion times better than un-proudly showing off the ugly, ugly, ugly cut. Every time I think about it, it makes me so angry... there's steam coming out of my ears and nose. Ladies and gents, the 'geisha' do is back in full swing. That is, until I come back from Cancun. There's a solid chance I might.... just... chop it all off.
