DKNY Fall 2011 RTW

i rarely anticipate anything exciting and new from Donna Karan's sportswear line because it's always the same (and honestly kind of boring). this time, however, i felt a little tingle and something pulling on my heartstrings. this Fall, there's a lot of cool-factor and sex appeal that reminds me of Brooklyn at its finest (pre-hipster era). what with the neon lights at the head of the runway, it only asks for a certain kind of mood. i particularly like it when moto-jackets aren't taken literally. in the end, it's still a black leather jacket that's been twice done before and more... but when it's manipulated it turns into something new. nice.
