Emily Blunt doesn't want to look like Barbie

i love lace.

"last night i had steamed pork buns that made me want to weep... i feel like i'm just emerging from a food coma. i'm not on cleanses or doing pilates everyday! not to stereotype hollywood girls but... i don't like it when they stretch you out and make you all long and skinny. it makes you look like a barbie. who the hell looks like that?"

and that is why i think you're so cool, mrs. john krasinski.

ZARA finally gives in...

for the longest time,
Zara and H&M were holding out on having an online store. but it's about time the latter joins the online community! unfortunately, The US is conspicuously missing....

Lady Gaga does Vanity Fair

haven't made a post about her in a really long time.

breathable

notice:
pants are loose enough so your junk can breathe.

undeniably American

of course we can count on Michael Kors to deliver an American collection that is oh-so-cool and desirable. every season, i love MK all over again... and again... and again.

it's not the brand, but the people

and when i say 'people', i don't mean Patrick Robinson.

GAP's been on and off the hot-radar for the last ten years. i know this because i'd actually make the effort to walk into a store one season, and i'd avoid it at all cost another season. sometimes it's too safe; the cookie-cutter style isn't for me (obviously). but at other times, there are decent pieces i'd cough up some dough for. in a recent article i read in "Fashionista", it explains that it's not all of the designer's fault if numbers are falling on the grid. blame it on the buyers, blame it on the CEO. suppose they hire new and younger buyers and fire the current CEO for someone who knows wassup... hmmmmm, now there's an idea (duh).

it's refreshing to read something about fashion that isn't solely about "the hottest item to have and/or die for".... you know what i mean?

Vogue's September 2010 Issue FATTENS up
