"Alice in Wonderland" takes a spin in France

As you should all know by now, Tim Burton is re-creating Alice in Wonderland via 3D, starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, and debuting Mia Wasikowska as Alice... and many more actors. If you didn't know about this until now, shame on you! Where have you been?!

Fashion has taken this exciting recreation into its own hands and produced an entire project in France via department store Printemps. As a child, I loved watching the Disney version of the story and I'm pretty sure I've seen it at least 20 times. I wish I can see this in person but photos will have to do... And it's still pretty amazing what these designers and artists have done to create products from the inspiration. Nicholas Kirkwood collaborated with Ann Demeulemeester, Alexander McQueen, Bernard Willhelm, Charles Anastase, Christopher Kane, Chloe, Haider Ackermann, Manish Arora, and Maison Martin Margiela, each of which were given a window to fill as they saw fit.
