If you're hungry and want to try somewhere new and something different, check out Buenos Aires Grill on Virginia St. between 2nd & 3rd. It's an Argentine cuisine restaurant that I love, love, love to go to... mainly because the chorizos there are a-ma-zingggggggg-g-g-g-g-g-g-g. One of my upmost faves is the meat platter that comes out on the hot grill. It's usually an order for a minimum of two but there's sooo much meat it's more like an order for four. FOR SERIOUS.
One of the things that sets this place apart from other restaurants is the entertainment. When you first walk in, you would think there wouldn't be enough room for any kind of entertainment other than the company of your friends. But believe it or not there's tango dancing performed by professional dancers that you can enjoy from one corner of the restaurant to the other. They say that the dance is about domination between the two, dancing to show that one has more power over the other... or something like that. They end up dancing on top of the bar, which I've only witnessed at racy and divey bars down by Pioneer Square. But this dance has a sensuality and almost a powerful way to really get sucked in, even though you're not really involved.
And speaking of the bar... it has a wide selection from your weekend-ly whiskey to their wide selection of Argentinian wine. I'm a huge wine-r (no pun intended hehe) so I was very impressed. If you haven't tried a drink called Sweet Tea, I highly recommend it. Trust me. You will love the end result more than you will love the flavor ;)
I lurve this blog... yes LURVE. FIST PUMP
